She lies completely still by the roadside – but look what slowly emerges from the forest

Amanda, who loves animals, was heartbroken when she heard about a stray dog nearby who needed to be taken to the vet. She couldn’t help but try to help the dog, nicknamed Bear by the locals.

Amanda soon came up with several ideas about how she could approach Bear, who was running wild in a mountainous natural area in Evans Creek in Washington state, northwestern USA.

Shortly afterwards, Bear appeared and snuck around the woman “in distress.” After 20 minutes, he ran away again.

Amanda lay there for another hour before Bear came back. This time he sat next to her and lay in her arms. Bear and Amanda lay next to each other for two hours.

The dog then followed Amanda to the car, and together they drove to the vet. Amanda’s action brings joy to the organization Lost & Found Pets in Washington.

“Bear finally got the help he so desperately needed – thanks to some amazing animal lovers who refused to give up hope for him,” says a spokesperson for the animal rights organization.

Despite several attempts, Bear’s owner has not been found. After he was treated, the animal rights organization found him a new home. Bear has now moved back home to a family who are very fond of him.
